Rejuvenating

My favorite articulated sconce 
 
I was running around today trying to find some fun things to style a photo shoot that I'm doing Thursday. I didn't have time to go far, but needed lots to choose from, so my destination was 4th Street in Berkeley.


 
Feeling desperate, I walked in to the new Rejuvenation on 4th street. I've shopped there before, but only on-line for clients that needed period light fixtures (which they specialize in). 


 
They just recently started opening stores outside of Portland ...

Somebody...snatch these up!

I was out hunting for my list of client items when I came across two steals! 

I would have snatched them up myself, but I'd need another house just to store things.


 
At the Crate and Barrel Outlet in Berkeley they have this fabulous long console table for $200.


 
All it needs is a top!


 
I'm picturing a zinc wrapped top that could be done VERY EASILY and inexpensively.

Sitting Pretty

I've never really thought much either way of the Grandin Road catalogue, however, it arrived the other day in the mail and I was surprised to see some great stools at fantastic prices!

 
Alsace Metal Stool $49. (Great Deal!)

Ikea Metamorphosis

I have to show you this amazing mid-century modern faux credenza!



Believe it or not, this is made by using the Ikea Akurum Wall Cabinets. It is a very simple process.



I love the very clean and sophisticated lines. It looks like a custom built piece. Of course, it is!
